Abstract

Axle pulleys.-A sheet-metal pulley comprises a pair of dished metal plates spot-welded at i and formed with abutting rolled-edge flanges a to form the rim. The plates, which may be corrugated as shown have discs c spot-welded to them at their centres and are spaced by a tube e, the serrated ends of which are forced into the metal. A liner f, which fits into the tube e, has a projection g engaging a recess h in the tube and is spun over at the ends to complete the assemblage of parts.
