Abstract
284,130. G³nther, W. K. June 7, 1927. Preserving fish &c. - Fish and other animal foodstuffs are preserved by packing in waterdamped sphagnum. The water may be cooled and may have salt added prior to moistening the sphagnum, which is only partly saturated therewith. A thin web of textile material may be placed between the foodstuff and the moss.
