As shown, the removable anvil c is mounted longitudinally at the bottom of a stator b in the mill and is supported on the bars a of the stator by means of flanges d. The elements e of the anvil c located between each two flanges dare roughly of triangular section with rounded corners, and project into the funnel-shaped stator b formed by the curved bars a so as to prevent the material fed in from escaping laterally when struck by the beaters.
