Contacts.-Self-aligning contacts for removable fuse-holders are provided with a spherical bolt on which the contact blades are supported in order that free movement of the blades mav occur during their engagement with the fixed contact clips. As shown in Fig. 2, the ball e is gripped between cupped holders d slidable in sleeves b, shoulders b<1> on the sleeves being held against the sides of a recess in the porcelain fuseholder a bv screws c entering the outer ends of the sleeves b and having their inner ends bearing against the holders d. After the ball has been clamped in position the heads of the screws are covered with insulating cement h. The contact blade f terminates in a shank which is perforated at f<1> so that it may be mounted as shown on the ball e and has free movement to permit its alignment with the fixed contact clips, such movement being limited laterally by the cheeks of the holders d. The blade f is provided with screws g for attachment of the fuse wines.
