Ash-trays; cigar and cigarette rests. - A smoker's ash-stand comprises an ash-tray 6 with a central outlet leading through a vertical conduit 4 to a receptacle 3 within a skirt member 22. As shown in Fig. 1, the receptacle 3 is of glass and is screwed to a threaded socket 17 on the conduit 4. The tray may be provided with a match-box holder 10 and grippers 11 for holding a cigar or cigarette. In a modification, the receptacle 3 engages a threaded portion of the skirt member, the base of which is provided with an annular weight 30, Fig. 3, and may also be fitted with a removable closure plate 25 secured by a latch 27.
