Abstract

281,553. Grimston, H. W. June 10, 1927. Endless chain and like carriers, apparatus with.- An endless canvas band passing round rollers carries transverse strips of wood E which display advertisements. To each end of each strip E is attached a guiding member having a flat stem and a knob A. Along each side of each straight length of the band is arranged a tubular channel B having in its side a straight slot with flared ends, which can accommodate the shanks of the guide members without turning. The band is moved intermittently by a flat projection C, having rounded corners, which is mounted on an endless chain I moving uniformly round sprocket wheels G. The projection C strikes the stems of the guide members at each revolution.
