Levers e are pivoted at one end to the masses and at the other :are anchored within the housing a. Lateral extensions i on the masses f are formed with projections l for engaging slots m in the forked arm n. Laminated springs, similar to those desscribed in Specification 251,794 bear against the housing a and oppose the centrifugal action imposed on the masses f. The casing a and arm n are secured to the driving and driven shafts, the relative adjustment, of which is limited by stops.
