Abstract

280,808. Monnot, J. F., and Klaxon, Ltd. May 14, 1927. Brush-holders.-In a diaphragm horn which is operated by an electric motor, a sheet metal insulating plate H carries the brush-holders H<1> and the terminals, two of which are formed by the securing bolts h. Each brush-holder is formed in one piece by stamping from sheet metal, and bas flanges h<2> for attachment to the plate H, one flange being extended to serve as a terminal. The brushes I are pressed against the commutator by helical springs I<1> secured to projections h<3> on the holders and disposed in slots h<4>.
