Abstract

280,114. Bodt, J. L. Jan. 14, 1927, [Convention date]. Heating by electricity.-A utensil for baking or roasting has a heating element 8 attached to a plate 4 held by frictional contact in the base ring 3, a recess 16 on the ring housing a casing 24 on the plate enclosing the heating element terminals 17. An upstanding edge 5 of the plate engages the inside of the ring and may be tapered. A resilient catch device may be fitted as additional security for retaining the plate in position. The plate is fitted with a handle or knob 15 the lower surface of which is level with bottom of the base ring when the plate is in position.
