Draught excluders.-A hinged-flap draught excluder for the bottoms of doors is actuated by means of a double-jointed hinge C connecting the end of the flap to the hinge post. The axes D<1> and E' of the hinge joints are equally inclined to and intersect at the vertical axis of the door hinge, and the axis of the hinges at the flap is inclined outwardly from the plane of the door and form the plane of the thrust on the hinge when the door is opened. One of the flap hinges G is placed in a central position to enable the flap to be bent to suit an uneven floor before fixing. The flap is tipped with rubber piping or the like F attached to its inner face.
