Abstract

278,558. Loutrel, C. H. Jan. 1, 1927. Locking nuts.-The ends of a helical spring washer are cut at an angle to the plane of the axis and the gap between the ends is smaller than the thickness of the washer in order to prevent interlinking. The washer may be slightly greater or less than one convolution of the helix and the opposed ends may be cut at different angles. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 11793/94 and 19285/07.
