278,428. Triscott, C. July 5, 1926. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Gloves. - A tennis or golf glove or other like device has a strap or straps passing across the palm of the hand of the wearer so that the handle of a tennis racket or other implement can be inserted under the strap and maintained in position. As shown, an elastic palm strap 5 is connected to a chamois leather or like covering for the back of the hand at 6, is wound round the hand and passes through retaining loops attached to the chamois leather cover, again crosses the palm of the hand to a retaining loop 8, and is then attached to an adjusting slide carried by a short strap at the back of the hand. A wrist strap 2 and button retain the device on the hand.
