Abstract

278,265. Sokka, A. E. April 4, 1927, Washing; wring- ing. - An appliance for handling washing comprises two arms 1, 2 pivotally connected at one end by a pin and slot 3, 4 and encircled by a band 7. The washing is gripped between jaws 6 at the free ends of the arms. The appliance may be fitted to a wash-tub for use in wringing, the clothes being gripped between the jaws of such an appliance and between the jaws of a second appliance held in the hand.
