Capo-tastos.-A transposing device for banjos &c. comprises a bar a with a resilient sleeve d, secured in any position by a helical spring b passed under the neck of the instrument. The resilient sleeve d may be formed as a covering to a rigid sleeve mounted. to rotate on the bar a. The bar mav alternatively be secured in position by spring clips at its ends.
