121,962. Carisch & Co., A. & G. Dec. 29, 1917, [Convention date]. Tuning-pins for violins, mandolins &c. The peg b has a collar d and a nut c which press a pair of spring plates f upon the pin-plate a. The nut c may be soldered to the peg or held by a lock-nut; or a pin may be inserted in a hole in the peg. A washer e may be interposed. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) also states that helical springs may be used instead of the spring plates. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
