Roofs.-A roof purlin 4 and a principal rafter 5 are arranged to engage each other by providing the upper face of the purlin with a notch 10 to fit a corresponding notch in the lower face of the rafter. A tenon joint 12, 13 is arranged between the purlin 4 and a strut. Angle cleats 14 may be arranged in the angles formed by the rafter, purlin, and strut. such cleats being secured, if desired, to all three members. Specifications 151,392 and 237,662 are referred to.
