Abstract

276,679. I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges. Aug. 25, 1926, [Convention date]. Right to Patent relinquished. Cellulose xanthates, processes for making filaments from.-To improve the wetting properties of viscese silk, there is added to the viscose solution or to the spinning bath, or to the washing, desulphurizing &c. liquids, an alkylated or aralkylated naphthalene sulphonie acid, or aminobenzene or aminonaphthalene sulphonic acid alkylated or aralkylated in the amino group, or the sulphonation products obtainable by the sulphonation of brown coal tar oils either by means of chlorosulphonic acid or by fuming sulphurie acid or by the process described in Specification 271,474, [Class 2 (iii)) Dyes &c.]. Suitable brown coal tar oils are solar oil, yellow oil, gas oil and paraffin oil. Specifications 184,449, 184,450, 234,188, and 234,433 are referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) refers to the addition of wetting agents in general, and includes a reference to Specification 269,943, [Class (iii), Dyes &c.]. This subject-matter and reference do not appear in the Specification as accepted.
