Fuel reservoirs.- A container for filling the fuel reservoirs of frictional igniters end for similar purposes, is provided with a delivery nozzle having a member slidably mounted therein which, when the container is tilted or inverted, is adapted to project through the outlet of the nozzle so as to assist the capillary flow of the liquid contents towards the outer end of the member and at the same time allow air to pass into the container between the internal sides of the nozzle and the member thereby causing a continuous delivery of the liquid. In one form, the container is provided with a tapered screw-threaded nozzle 12 in which is slidably mounted a rod 18 having an enlarged part 19, which is slit longitudinally and rests normally on a spider 17. In use, the nozzle 12 is inserted in the filling opening of an igniter or other article and the two articles are inverted, the movement of the rod being limited by a stop 20 therein engaging the spider 17. The part 19 may be replaced by a solid rod having threads or grooves therein, by a tube, which may have a slit end, or by a coiled spring. The nozzle 12 is normally closed by a screw cap 13 having a sealing washer 14. The container may be provided with a filling opening 8 provided with a closure plug 10 secured detachably by a screw collar 11.
