Abstract

Bags for golf clubs. -A golf bag hood of the kind comprising an inverted fabric pocket the upper end of which is dome shaped and permanently closed whilst the lower end is attached to the bag, is constructed of soft or pliable fabric made in sections cut and permanently joined in such a manner that, when erected over the clubs in the bag, the hood has a substantially dome shaped upper end and a longitudinal front opening. The hood consists of fabric sections 5 - - 8 of truncated lenticular shape joined together at their edges and converging to a tip or button 9. At the front is a vertical opening secured by press stud fasteners 14, strap and buckle fasteners or a slider-controlled strip fastener. A turn-button 15 or other separable fastener secures the hood to the front of the bag. When not required the hood may be folded backward as shown in Fig. 3.
