Abstract

274,107. Vivier, L. J. July 9, 1926, [Convention date]. Ventilators. - An injector device wherein the inducing fluid is given a. rotary motion by means of stationary helical surfaces which extend to the outlet of the jet, or wherein alternatively the rotary motion is produced by rotating surfaces, is adapted for use as a ventilator for vehicles travelling in one direction, as shown in Fig. 11, or in either direction, Fig. 12. Air is induced into the chamber 63, Fig. 11, and flows into the vehicle through the pipe 64. The device may be movable and provided with directing vanes. Two helical elements 65 are provided in the arrangement shown in Fig. 12. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 133,897.
