Washing, processes for.-Wool in bulk, if necessary after a. de-suinting treatment, is treated with a detergent liquor not containing suint, such as soap or carbonate of soda, and thereupon treated with concentrated suint liquor which is not purified for re-use. The soap or carbonate of soda bath may be purified for re-use and may be utilized in a saturating shaft as described in Specification 159,969. To maintain the concentration of the suint liquor bath, suint liquor of about 10‹ BÚ. may be added. A number of bowls with the suint liquor circulating in countercurrent may be used, with subsequent rinsing in water or a second soap washing. Antipurificative substances may be added. Specifications 221,521, 240,482, 240,499, 256,635, and 273,765 are referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) refers particularly to limed and acidified wools. This reference does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
