Abstract

273,039. Parker, Winder, & Achurch, Ltd., and Asdell, J. H. April 10, 1926 Resistance coatings. - A slab of ceramic or other porous material is formed with a groove 3 the bottom of which is impregnated with conducting material, for example by applying metal in a liquid form, such as platinum made up with ether or essential oils, and firing. The impregnated slab may then be glazed. At the ends of the groove flat portions 1 of the slab are coated with conducting material in connection with that in the groove and holes 5 are provided for terminals. The holes 5 may also be lined with conducting material.
