Abstract

271,679. Hawker Engineering Co., Ltd., H. G., and Cowdrey, C. L. July 21, 1926. Sights.-A mounting for a course-setting bomb sight comprises a pair of telescopic members one of which carries the sight. As shown, the sight b, of any suitable form, is carried at the lower end of a tube a mounted to slide without rotation in a tube c which is attached to the cockpit. The tube a is moved axially by a screwed spindle h operated by a handle i at the top, and is clamped in any position by a split ring m. The tube c may be mounted so as to be rotatable, if desired, about one or more axes.
