271,585. Hardaker, J. T. March 10. 1926. Hand-trucks.-A wheeled truck consists of a framework 1 having guides 6 for a platform 7 which is raised or lowered by means of lazytong levers 14 .. 17 pivoted to brackets on the platform and frame respectively, and whose free pivotal points 18, 19 are connected to nuts 20, 21 engaging a right and left handed threaded operating-spindle 22. The handle 24 for operating the screw 22 is provided with a universal joint 23 and the platform 7 is provided with hinged side members 11 which may be locked by pins 12 to form an edge to the platform. The frame 1 is supported on wheels 3, 4 which do not contact with the ground simultaneously.
