269,061. Marris's, Ltd., and Marris, R. G. Sept. 27, 1926. Plug stoppers, bayonet-joint.-Relates to a picnic " kettle adapted for carrying a supply of water. The lid 8, which is centrally recessed, carries a resilient washer 10 bearing on a flange 4d formed at the mouth of the kettle and has riveted to the underside a dished metal disc 7 formed with a pair of resilient extensions 7a provided with upturned lugs adapted to engage pins 6 projecting inwardly from the neck of the vessel.
