267,423. Macdonald, A. D. J. Robertson-, and Pratt, Owen, & Co., Ltd. Oct. 22, 1926. Vacuum cleaners. - A trolly for housing a portable vacuum cleaner during transit is formed of a wire frame mounted on three rollers b, b<1>. In front of the rear roller b<1> the frame! is secured by a clip c having an upright leg d carrying a U-piece adapted to hold the handle n of the cleaner. The front end carries bearings for the axles e of the rollers b, and a standard f formed by connecting the ends of the wire forming the frame in a clip g, one end being extended to carry the dust bag h, and the other holding the nozzle j of the cleaner. The long arm is made in two parts secured by a sleeve k or is made telescopic. The bearings are formed by recessing the wire frame as at a<1>, the axles being kept in position by a similarly-bent T-piece all. The near roller b<1> may have a pivotal mounting. The cleaner has the motor shaft, fan, and orifice in line, the casing o being enlarged to hold a bigger fan.
