265,482. Boisen, L. C., and Aktieselskabet L. C. Boisen. Sept. 13, 1926. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Road-traffic signals on vehicles.- A turning indicator comprises a shallow cylinder or other body 8 mounted on a vertical pivot and adapted to be rotated in either direction by a flexible shaft to bring its circular faces at right angles to the line of motion of the vehicle. The cylinder is pro.- vided with a muff 11 to take over the end of a bearing bracket 12, a pin 14 on which normally rests in a recess 15 off-set from a semicircular slot in the muff. A lamp 19 fed by a cable 24 is connected with two contact blades 16 disposed on either side of pin 14 so that when the cylinder is fully turned one way or the other the lamp circuit is closed. The cylinder is operated by a flexible shaft 20 threaded through the bracket and d secured adjustably to the muff and to an operating handle 23 having an index arrow 22.
