Embossing; printing processes. - Fur skins, previously dressed in the usual way and also, if required, dyed, are ornamented, e.g. to imitate expensive skins, by means of embossing-plates, which are preferably heated and which may be inked so as simultaneously to colour the skin. In examples, calf skins are treated to imitate pony skins or broadtails. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 2034/78, 14644/08, 24710/10, 24013/11, and 251,494.
