Receivers with pneumatic source of power.-In an automatic control device or relay, in which a cylinder with an inlet and and outlet for fluid under pressure is provided with a movable end wall responsive to pressure variations within the cylinder, the sensitiveness of the response is increased by employing a floating piston to constitute the end wall. The piston 4 is of slightly smaller diameter than the cylinder 1 and its rod 6 is carried by the upper end of spring blades 7, 8 fixed at their lower ends to a block 9 fixed to the base plate 10. The upper ends of the blades are spaced by a tube 11 on the rod 6. The device is applicable for amplifying small movements as described in Specification 256,285.
