Abstract

264,293. Rignold, H. R. Sept. 6, 1926. Brackets.-A shelf bracket of the kind in which a pair of lugs 5 slidably embrace an upright support provided with holes selectively engaged by a hooked projection 6 on the bracket is formed of three stampings 1, 3, 4. The stamping 1 is provided with projections 2 which engage apertures in a right angle table member 3 and a plate 4 provided with the embracing lugs 5. The hook 6 is riveted at the foot of the bracket. A set screw to adjust the bracket angularly may be provided in addition to or instead of the hook 6. In the latter case, the tip of the screw may be reduced in diameter to enter one of the holes in the upright support. The lugs 5 are inclined as shown to allow tilting of the bracket.
