Window frames.-Two parts A, A<1> of a bar are joined to form a sash or frame member, particularly for a pivoted window, by means of a block B provided with faces B', B<2> and ribs B<3>, B<4>, which position the parts, the blocks being screwed or brazed to the ends. The block is holed for the pivot of the sash. In a modification, the block has a part interposed between the ends of the bars to be joined and ends extending behind the frame bars or between the flanges of the sash-bars.
