Abstract
261,093. Kobori, K., and Kanegafuchi Boseki Kabushiki Kwaisha. Aug. 13, 1925. Forced ventilation; air, conditioning; ventilating conduits.-Air, circulated in a cocoon-storage chamber by a fan 5, is passed previously through a chamber 7 containing dehydrating materials, such as clay dust kneaded into balls with water and heated to 300‹ C., or calcium chloride. The dry air passes, through a cooler 9 and thence through pipe 11 and apertures 12 into the chamber 1. The air is returned through apertures 14 and pipe 13 to the fan 5. The chamber has an entrance door 17 in a passage 16 serving a number of chambers, the passage having an entrance 18. The cooling plant may be of the brine or ammonia type. Both cooling and drying of the air may be effected in the cooling plant. the damp air being cooled to below the freezing point to remove the moisture and there regulated to about the freezing point before use.
