Abstract
An automatic oven tray conveyance apparatus enables the oven tray 3 to be adjusted or moved vertically up or down inside an oven/grill cabinet by rotating a selector switch 1 which is located on the oven/grill body. Collision with a manual tray and chicken grill may be prevented by a limit switch (24, figure 1). Movement may result from a signal sent by the selector switch to a motor gear box (1, Fig 2) which is then transmitted to a gear box (3, Fig 2). The signal transmitted to gear box preferably reflects the direction of axis of movement to a lead screw shaft (2, Fig 2), where its rotation leads to vertical tray movement inside the oven / grill cabinet. Electrical power and signals may be transmitted by cables (5, Fig 3) and controlled by a control board 4. The limit switch may sense the presence of the manual tray and / or chicken grill and, if either are present, cuts off the electrical circuit of the automatic oven tray to prevent movement. A signal lamp 2 preferably indicates whether the automatic tray is ready to use.
Description
Automatic oven tray This invention adds a new mechanism to all types of ovens/grills (gas/ electric).
Usually basic ovens mainly consist of (oven room, chicken grill, holders, and trays inserted manually at different fixed levels).
However, the use of basic ovens lead to a number of difficulties, risks and energy waste.basically,If the user wants to change the tray level up or down, he needs an effort pull the hot tray that needs to be inserted and balanced properly into the new level using both hands. Unfortunately, hands are often exposed to skin burns due to extreme high temperatures of every part inside the oven room (broil element, tray, food, oven rack, or the container) .Despite of using gloves to insulate heat; they still cannot prevent heat transfer and thermal skin burns/ injuries. In addition to skin burns and back pain from heavy trays, heat energy escapes out each time the oven door is open by the user to change the tray level. Furthermore, while the food is being cooked, the sudden heat loss resulted from the several openings of the oven/grill door causes certain foods like (bread, cakes,) to get ruined from the sudden heat loss. Eventually, these problems all cause more energy waste therefore leads to increased energy bills and money spend.
To overcome these problems, the present invention proposes a new automatic tray, which is located inside the oven room by which the level of it can be moved vertically (upwards / downwards) simply by using the selector switch which is fixed on the cooker body. Therefore, the user can adjust the distance between the automatic tray and the heat source flexibly during the cooking process while the oven door is kept closed. The invention provides more flexibility, safety, energy save to the user and it's easily handled by disables and elderly people.
The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to accompanying drawings: Figure 1:shows the mechanical parts for hoisting assembly Figure 2:shows the connection between guide hole and bracket-1 through bolts and lead nuts Figure 3: shows the electrical connections and control network Figure 4: shows the location of lead screw shaft and gearbox 90 inside the cooker body Figure 5: shows the point of attachment of holder2 to cooker body by welding Figure 6: shows the connection of some parts with each other Figure 7: shows the connection of holder 4 with tray holder by welding Figure 8: shows the connection of some parts with each other Figure 9: shows the connection of holder 2 and aluminum bracket-2 with cooker body Figure 10: shows the attachment of holder box 90 to the base of the cooker body by welding After preparing the work position, first we rotate the Selector switch (figure 3 item 1) to send a signal to the motor-gearbox (figure 1 item 1) to turn through the Propeller shaft (figure 1 item 13), the movement is then transmitted to the Gear box 90 (figure 1 item 3) that reflects the direction of the axis of movement to the Lead screw shaft (figure 1 item 2), which is fixed from the top by Bracket-3 (figure 1 item 4) that is connected by Bolts (figure 1 item 19) to the Holder 2 (figure 1 item 22), which is fixed to the wall of the cooker by welding (figure 5), then Lead screw shaft begins to rotate.
In figure (1), When the Lead screw shaft (item 2) rotates, the Lead nut (item 9) associated with it moves up and down according to the direction of rotation, this Lead nut (item 9) is fixed by Bolts (item 17) on Bracket-1 ( item 7) and thus Bracket-1( item 7) is moved with it which is linked to Holder4 (item 11) by Bolts (item 18) and it is fixed with Tray holder ( item 10) by welding as shown in (figure 7).
In figure (1) ,The axle movement of Bracket-1 (item 7) holding the new automatic tray is fixed by two Guide Shafts (item 6), which are connected by Bolts (item 17), these Guide Shafts are fixed from the top and the bottom by Bracket-3 (item 4) which is fixed with a Holder2 (item 22) by Bolts (item 19) . Holder2 (figure 1 item 22) is fixed to the body of the cooker by welding as shown in (figure 9).
The Gear box 90 (figure 1 item 3) is fixed by the Holder box 90 (figure 1 item 14) by welding as shown in (figure 10).
The signals and electrical power are transmitted by Cables (figure 3 item 5) and controlled by the Control Board (figure 3 item 4). The Limit switch can sense the presence of the original tray and the chicken grill. In case when both of trays are present (original and new automatic tray), the limit switch cuts off the electrical circuit of the new automatic tray to ensure non-collision of trays (new automatic tray and the original tray). Once the original tray/ chicken grill is removed, the electrical circuit of the new automatic tray turns on which is controlled by rotating the selector switch (figure 3 item 1).
The signal lamp (figure 3 item 2) indicates that the circuit of the new automatic tray is ready to move by the selector switch (figure 3 item 1).
Claims (7)
- Claims 1. An automatic oven tray by which its level can be adjusted/ moved vertically up or down inside the oven/grill room by rotating the selector switch which is located on the oven/grill body.
- 2. An automatic oven tray according to claim 1, by which its collision with the manual tray and chicken grill is prevented by the presence of the limit switch
- 3. An automatic oven tray according to claim 1, by which its movement is resulted from the signal that is sent by the selector switch to motor gear box which is then transmitted to gear box 90.
- 4 An automatic oven tray according to claim 3, by which the signal transmitted to gear box 90 reflects the direction of axis of movement to lead screw shaft, by which its rotation leads to vertical tray movement up or down inside the oven / grill room.
- 5. An automatic oven tray according to claim 3, the electrical power and signals are transmitted by cables and controlled by the control board.
- 6 An automatic oven tray according to claim 2,the limit switch can sense the presence of the manual tray and chicken grill, in case if one or both of them are present, the limit switch cuts off the electrical circuit of the automatic oven tray, and preventing it from working.
- 7. An automatic oven tray according to claim 6, a signal lamp is fixed on the grill/ oven body which indicates whether the automatic tray is ready to use or not ( it is ready only when the oven/grill room is free of both chicken grill and manual tray)
