Abstract

260,709. Downing, A. E., and Beesley, T. Sept. 7, 1925. Stays.-A folding table comprises fixed side brackets 1 attached to a vertical surface, a board 3 pivoted on a rod 4 between the brackets, and a stay 8 pivoted on a rod 6 between the side brackets and pressed by a spring 11 against the underside of the table, where it is held in a notched bar 10 thereon. The table is held when vertical by the engagement of a clip 12 on its underside on the rod 6. The top may be angularly adjusted, and the stay 8 may be V-shaped.
