Roofing, sheet-metal; walls. - Metal sheets either plain or corrugated ere fixed to purlins or other framework by ribs b provided on the inner side and formed by welding or rivetting bars or tubes to the sheets, or the sheets mav be folded in known manner, as shown in Fig. 10. The ribs may be perforated to receive hooked bolts f, Fig. 4; or fixing lugs j, Fig. 7, may be bent out from the ribs; or the ribs may be severed at the ends from the sheets and be bent to form clips over the purlins, Fig. 7. The ribs may be continuous or discontinuous and may run longitudinally or transversely of the sheets or in both directions. Joint-cover strips for ordinarv corrugated sheeting may be similarly formed with the ribs.
