259,152. Neumann, E. June 3, 1926. Hinges readily detachable. - Relates to a cover for coking-vessels adapted to be secured thereto by a detachable hinge. In the form shown, the cover is connected to the vessel by a tapered plug member f, mounted on the cover, engaging in a socket c on the vessel, the plug member being connected to a handle member g, h, fixed to the cover, by a pivot pin e. The parts of the hinge may, however, be attached to the vessel, the socket member being provided on the cover.
