Abstract

This invention relates to a portable control unit (11) which can be mounted to the water operation console in case of need and enables remote control operations of the lifting crane used to place ramps (4) that allow military vehicles and troops to cross over AAAB System(2) having the capability to move on land/ in water. By means of the portable control unit (11), the lifting crane (7) can be operated from the water operation console (3). By this means, the number of the crew, which is three, of the AAAB system (1), is reduced and the AAAB system (1) is ensured to be also operated by two personnel.

Claims (3)

1. An AAAB system comprising; an amphibious AAAB vehicle (2) containing all the elements thereon, designed for military troops to cross over the river and having the ability to move on land and water, a water operation console (3) which is a control panel controlled by water propulsion operator and used to control said AAAB vehicle (2) movements in water, a ramp (4) mounted on said AAAB vehicle (2) and allowing military troops to move upon said AAAB vehicle (2) and to readily move down from said AAAB vehicle (2), and connection plurality of said AAAB vehicle (2) to each other, a mounting section (5) which is the section where said ramp (4) is mounted on said AAAB vehicle (2) to ensure vehicle and personnel passage over said ramp (4), â a stacking section (6) which is the section where it is stacked by being mounted on said AAAB vehicle (2) in cases when said ramp (4) is not in use, â a crane (7) which allows said ramp (4) to be carried between said mounting section (5) and said stacking section (6) on said AAAB vehicle (2) and which has the ability to move right/left, forward/backward and downward/upward around itself, â a movement mechanism (8) located on the end of said crane (7) and ensuring downward/upward movement of the rope to which said ramp (4) is tied to be carried, and â a primary connector (9) located on said crane (7) and ensuring the cable connection, the AAAB system (1) enabling remote control operations, from said water operation console (3), of said crane (7) used to lift said ramps (4) allowing vehicles that cross over rivers to be loaded on said AAAB vehicles (2), and used to place these said ramps (4) on their usage area, characterized in that; it comprises â a secondary connector (10) located on said water operation console (3), ensuring the cable connection and enabling said crane (7) to be used also by the water propulsion operator in water, â a portable control unit (11) containing all the elements thereon in order to control movements of said crane (7), allowing for single hand use, controlling said crane (7) wirelessly or wired by being connected to said primary connector (9) or to said secondary connector (10) via connection socket, and when desired it can be put on neck of driving operator via strap, â a mounting slot (12) located on said water operation console (3) and ensuring the engagement of said portable control unit (11) onto said water operation console (3) and â a mounting strap (13) located on said portable control unit (11) and ensuring the engagement of said portable control unit (11) into said mounting slot (12).
2. Said AAAB system (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that; it comprises â a camera (14) located on end of said movement mechanism (8), transmitting the image to ensure safe mounting of said ramp (4) on said mounting section (5) and on said stacking section (6) by moving together with said movement mechanism (8) and thereby allowing the water propulsion operator to control said crane (7) easily on his own, and â a screen (15) located on said water operation console (3), enabling the transmission of images transmitted from said camera (14) to the driving operator on water, supporting installation activities at night and having infrared feature to provide ease of installation.
3. Said AAAB system (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that; it comprises a portable control unit (11) comprising; a handling lever (16) controlling the axial movement of said crane (7) and enabling said crane (7) to rotate 360° around its axis, a locking button (17) activating axial movements of said handling lever (16) and allowing said handling lever (16) to be turned to desired direction when pushed, up button (18) ensuring upwards movement of the rope tied between said movement mechanism (8) and said ramp (4) and down button (19) ensuring downwards movement of the rope tied between said movement mechanism (8) and said ramp (4).
