Abstract

258,995. Exham, H. W. Aug. 21, 1925. Sock - suspenders. - A sock-gripping terminal fitting for a suspender comprises a stem A having at its lower end straight prongs P<1>, p<2> to engage the sock and at its upper end a hollow triangle of which one leg t<1> is attached to one end of the leg band and the other leg t<2> engages a hook member B on the other end of the leg band. The hook member B, Fig. 6, or one end of the triangle, or both, is or are provided with an extension x which wedges and locks the free end of the leg band when a tight-fitting ring c is forced over it.
