Abstract

258,441. Barton, P. C. Nov. 6, 1925. Posts, attachments for. - A mounting for attaching insulator arms to telegraph &c. poles comprises a straight channel section a which has a socket a<3> for engagement with the pole b, the socket being formed by longitudinally slitting the web of the section a, as shown in Fig. 8, and pressing the intervening metal outwardly. The mounting is fitted between the insulator arm c and the pole b, as shown in Fig. 1, the arm c being bolted or clamped to the pole side. In a modification, the device comprises a straight angle section which may constitute the insulator arm.
