Ladders; scaffolding.-A ladder suitable for use on greenhouse roofs has upper wheels g, carried by an axle h supported in bearings j fixed to sliding brackets k, and lower wheels d carried by an axle c supported in bearing brackets b fixed to the bottom of the ladder. The inclination of the wheels may be adjusted by turning the axles in their bearings and the lower brackets may be adjustable on the end of the ladder to vary the depth of projection of the lower wheels. The lower wheels may be locked by spring- actuated pins.
