Abstract

Gloves.-In the manufacture of gloves without fourchetes from a blank such as is shown in Fig. 1, with the addition of separate pieces for the fronts of the second and third fingers, the slits 9, 10 between the second and 'third fingers meet at points so as to form an angle pointing away from the fingers. The corresponding incisions 11, 12 in the finger pieces 7, 8 are.cut as shown in Figs. 2 and 3, and the thumb piece 15, Fig. 4, is arranged with projections 17 and forms after doubling and stitching to an opening 18 an oval ring reaching to the base joint of the index finger.
