Abstract
256,081. Gundell, T. M. Sept. 30, 1925. Contents, viewing; bands, strengthening; corner strengthening pieces.-A stock box for storing goods in shops &c. is made of fibreboard and has at least one wall formed as a frame surrounding a transparent pane f of glass &c. with the upper edge of the frame reinforced by a sheet metal strip l. The frame preferably consists of an inner member k and an outer member g between which the pane f is fixed and the upper edges of the members are bound together by the reinforcing metal strip l which is of U-section and may be also applied to the other upper edges of the box. The corners may be strengthened by corner clips n of U-section which straddle the reinforcing strips l and are retained in position by rivets o. The lower part of the frame may be reinforced by a metal strip secured in position by the rivets g' connecting the frame members, and two of the rivets may also secure a handle m to the box. The bottom a and back b of the box are in one piece and the ends c and the frame are secured thereto by flanges d, e, j while flanges h on the frame are secured to the ends.
