Hydraulic transmission of power.-A hydraulic clutch or coupling comprises two concentric members each provided on their adjacent peripheries with semi-circular or other recesses 6, Fig. 1. Liquid is contained in or supplied to the recesses from a chamber in the inner member. The parts may have additional transverse recesses 17, Fig. 5. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modification in which, in addition to the peripheral recesses 6, Fig. 7 (Cancelled), radial recesses 23 are also formed. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
