Abstract

Indiarubber, variegating.-Differently coloured compounds are mixed together and the internal structure of the resulting mass is exposed by removing the surface. Sheets of light-coloured and dark-coloured compound, at least one of which is plastic, are rolled or folded together and are rolled by calender rollers into a sheet sufficiently thick to be sliced into thinner sheets. The sheet is preferably at least partially vulcanized before slicing.
