A tyre c of elastic material, such as that known under the registered trade-mark Dexine, is carried by a metal rim b which is formed with wedge-shaped keys e to fit corresponding recesses f in the disc periphery, nuts h on screw-threaded projections g on the keys e detachably securing the rim b to the disc a. The rim and disc periphery are slightly tapered.
