Abstract

254,206. Goldsbrough, R. E., and Goldsbrough Patents Co., Ltd. Dec. 31, 1925. Tip-buckets.-An open-topped tip-bucket is of rhomboidal form in side elevation and is rectangular in cross-section. The rear wall c comprises a vertical part and an inclined part parallel with the front wall d, which extends nearly to the top of the side plates b. Short-chains are attached to eyes i at the angle of the rear wall c and to a bow e situated to the rear of the front edge h. These chains are connected with a single lifting- chain, and when the bridge e is released from its chain the bucket hangs vertically from the eyes j for discharging.
