Description
Advance Panel Stand
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention generally relates to the supporting of vehicle replacement panels at various angels to allow for several panels to be painted. An excellent design panel stand for use in the automotive industry.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
From the working background in the motor vehicle smash repair industry, it would appear that the usual method of spray painting replacement panels is impractical, time consuming and needlessly expensive.
The design of this invention alleviates the unnecessary procedures of a tired and old method. This invention offers a fundamental capability change for practical use and cost saving. A modern approach to servicing the smash industry.
This invention is of high quality construction and is designed to support the whole front end panels from various vehicle manufacturers. The benefits by using such equipment provides for easier application of paint to the panel, time efficient, easier manoeuvrability of the panels.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The invention generally comprises of a base support with fours caster wheels and brake for safety when placing or removing panels.
The centre post extension control connects to the upper main supporting structure, from the main support it have the two rear main support and top front support that enable for the fitment of attachments to secure the panel.
The attachments will come in two (2) variations to allow for the panel to be secured on the stand. The option of attachments will allow for the panel to be mounted, based on the various mounting points specific to the many and varied manufactured panels.
The invention also allows for the addition of the front main extension that will allow to support additional panels on either side of the invention. This is optional for European car manufactures or for special vehicles. This would enable a total of three (3) panels to be mounted on the stand.
The item is also designed to be collapsible (folded) and stored in an upright position and therefore allowing for more working space within the warehouse / panel shop.
