251,438. Vickers, A. May 11, 1925. Domestic filters.-An upper cylinder 1, which receives the liquid to be filtered and is fitted with a filtering element, has a reduced lower part 2 which depends into a lower cylinder 3 for the reception of the filtered liquid, the cylinder 3 being of smaller diameter so that it can be packed in the cylinder 1 for transport. The part 2 is formed separately and has an outwardly extending flange 4 which is welded to the cylinder 1 and which rests on the edge of the cylinder 3 when the parts are. in position.
