Abstract

Filters having sheet filtering-materials. - A nut a which screws on to the end of a central bolt band thus secures a cover e on a filter body j is formed with a sleeve or prolongation which passes through the cover and is provided with a detachable collar f. When the nut is unscrewed from the bolt and raised, the collar f engages with the cover or, as in the arrangement shown in Fig. 2, with an extension i on the filter cage g, so that they are removed together. According to the Provisional Specification, an extension on the filter cage may be loosely attached to the cover.
