Abstract
A method of improving the integrity of a building structure comprising a plurality of connected components in response to vibrational loading, the method comprising: measuring vibrational activity at a lateral location at or near the building structure; in response to the measured vibrational activity exceeding a predetermined threshold value or parameter, initiating countermeasure means provided at the building structure to inhibit damage to the building structure due to vibrational loading.
